Guests travelling with Orlova South regularly travel great distances to experience the breathtaking scenery, maritime activities and participate in events throughout New Zealand. Switched-on sophisticated discerning travellers to New Zealand have to be concerned about the effect their travel has on the environment. We share this concern. Our effort towards making NZ tourism sustainable, promote your wellbeing and reduce our impact on our environment is well underway. We actively try to reduce any adverse effects though buying wisely, disposing of waste responsibly, and providing an environmentally and socially responsible experience to our passengers. In recognition of our responsibility to the environment and to further enhance the quality of our service, we are endorsed as Kiwi Green Certified, using only eco-friendly products in our cleaning. KIWI GREEN offers a sponsorship program for passengers who wish to contribute further to offsetting carbon emissions. This will be discussed during you tour when Orlova South and their passengers plant Native trees on a privately owned block of land which is to be developed as a Whanau Marae on the Westcoast. The property owners intend this Marae to be used to teach teenagers and the public about Maori folklore, flora and fauna, and include on going planting of Native trees, shrubs and grasses; activties to help reduce pests in the area, to maintain and upkeep of this precious amazing asset that boasts incredible 70 year old Native bush. Our passengers will be a part of this during the 12 & 18 days tours. So book your place now.
